How to order new Toile designs All of the images on this site were created by master fabric designer Thomas Wood for Porterfield's Fine Art Licensing, and are readily and easily available for licensing. We've begun this presentation of new toile images with six basic designs that are shown in nine different color settings. As time goes by we'll add new designs and new color combinations to existing designs. Because these designs are created digitally, we literally have a palette of well over a million colors to choose from. Thus the image that you see in black on white, let's say, could just as easily be in pink or raspberry or lemon or maroon or lavender or violet or any color you might choose, and with any background that works with that color. You can pick one of our existing color combinations as shown on this site, or tell us you'd like the design in a particular color - let's say, lavender - and we'll create it for you in that color with a pleasingly-colored background. Even though we've used close-up's of each design to show a variety of color combinations, we'll provide you with a complete, wrap-around design that's as large and extensive as you need. When we license the image to you for your use, you'll receive a large digital file - to your specifications - on disk along with a color-match proof. At Porterfield's Fine Art Licensing, we try to make the licensing process quick and painless. Our agreements are short and to the point. Our charges are reasonable. And our basic viewpoint is that we want you to be so happy with the design you've licensed from us that you come back for more designs in the future.
