Gloria Eriksen is one of America's leading contemporary fine art painters.  She has licensed her beautiful oil paintings and watercolors extensively over the years, and her work has appeared on a broad range of fine art prints, home decor and accessories, rugs and home fabrics, kitchen textiles, ceramics, wallpaper, and a host of beautiful related products.

Gloria has painted since she was a small child and was fortunate to have teachers who helped nurture her artistic talents.  After being named the most outstanding art student in her college, she went on to a career as a designer and illustrator, working initially as a package designer for a well-known cosmetics company before beginning a career as a freelance artist, graphic designer, and painter of fine art originals.

She has been under contract with some of America's and Canada's top fine art publishing houses, and her prints in particular can be found extensively throughout North America and abroad.

The artist also painted watercolor botanicals for the Gardener's Almanac section in Better Homes and Garden, and her watercolors have appeared in Splash, the well-known publication by North Light Books.

Gloria paints in oils, acrylics, mixed media and collage.  Flowers are her favorite subject matter and she has a huge collection of floral books and references in her home studio in San Diego, which she shares with her dog and two cats.
